Introducing the Wilson Vesper Pickleball Paddle Series

As pickleball becomes more popular, the competition heats up while paddle manufacturers scramble to make the next big breakthrough in paddle construction. Wilson's Vesper series was designed from the ground up to be the best pickleball paddles for advanced players, putting their 40 years of composite tennis racket engineering to good use. Discover what true innovation looks like as we enter a new era of pickleball paddle technology.

What makes the Vesper unique?

The Vesper is made using a first-of-its-kind bladder molded frame that optimizes impact compression. This compression allows the paddle to deliver maximum hitting power while staying within USAPA regulations. Its core is fully isolated from the edge using high-density Isochamber foam to enclose the core, which is done to maximize the size of the sweet spot. The Vesper is the only paddle to feature a 360 isolated core with a honeycomb center without creating a trampoline effect that disqualifies other paddles from getting USAPA-approved. Taking inspiration from modern tennis racquet design, the open throat FreeFlex design allows the shaft to bend for more speed and maneuverability.

Which Vesper paddle should you get?

There are 3 Vesper models available: the Power 14, the Control 17, and the Lite. Each paddle was made with different goals in mind, so there's a paddle for each type of player. Find out which model best suits your needs and play style.

Vesper Power 14

Two elongated shaped pickleball paddles, one front facing and the other rotated laterally for an angled view.

Choose the Vesper Power 14 if you want unmatched hitting power. The elongated paddle shape gives a more head-heavy swing with longer reach and more power. A longer handle allows players to leverage both hands on their back shots to deliver a decisive blow when the moment counts. Its thickness and swing weight were designed to maximize hitting power.

Vesper Control 17

Two wide-bodied pickleball paddles, one front facing and the other rotated laterally for an angled view.
Defensive players will want to try the Vesper Control 17. Compared to the Power 14, it's designed with a wider hitting surface that allows for greater coverage. Combine this with a shorter grip length that improves handling, and you have a paddle that gives full control while still being able to hit power shots when it counts. The thicker 17mm core allows for more constant impact on hit to further improve your control over each shot.

Whether you're a pickleball veteran or an intermediate-level player looking for next-level pickleball gear, the Wilson Vesper pickleball paddle series is sure to revolutionize the way you play.
